Club 65 (5th and 6th Graders)
Club 65 is a place:
- That welcomes kids through their eyes
- Where kids feel safe
- Where kids' small groups feel like family
- Where creativity rules
- Where no one serves alone
- That is fun !!!
This unique ministry reaches kids as they transition from childhood to adolescence. Too old for "kid's stuff," but not quite ready for junior high. It's logo symbolizes Club 65's motto:
Everyone is...
Precious In God's Sight (P.I.G.S.)
Club 65 rotates each year a focus on the Old and New Testaments. This year we're parked in the New Testament and we have a nautical theme. It's all about water, boats, harbors, storms, fish and a ton of other fun way sto walk through the major teachings in the New Testament. Our motto is Pigs LAF with HAM. Everything in the New Testament is about LAF and HAM and all Club 65ers are PIGS, Precious in God's Sight. Wanna find out what LAF and HAM are? Ya gotta come!
Sunday Mornings 10 am, 11:30 am
We start the week looking at the major scripture passages in the New Testament and what they mean to our lives. Using games, upfront teaching and small group discussion each passage is broken down into bite sized pieces so everyone can take something away for the week. Leaders spend intentional time connecting with 65ers to build trusting relationships. These relationships create an atmosphere where 65ers can ask questions, ask for guidance and confide in someone who truly cares about them.
Wednesday Nights 6:30 pm (Sept.-May)
Our evening sessions focus on topics that are pressing for pre-teens. Major topics are FISH! (community), Shipmates (friendships), Waterwalkers (stepping out in faith), and RIders of the Storm (trials and temptations). On the first Wednesday of each month, our small groups have Fleet Week. All our "ships" got off campus to have intentional community care time. This week is not the best week for first timers. We strongly urge 65ers to come at least one week before attending Fleet Week. Permission forms are required, click below to review, print & bring on Wednesday night.
Such as retreats, movie nights, scavenger hunts, offer more opportunities for building friendships and growing closer to God.
