Equipping Ministry

"Equipping the committed follower to know, serve and surrender to God"

The Life Stage 4/5 Equipping Ministry is designed to help equip and connect people to God, to the Word, and to one another. We major on relational discipleship. We have discovered that there is nothing more exciting than experiencing God's grace in His word, and in fellowship with other people learning how to live the Christian faith in this world. The primary emphasis with our equipping ministry is to help individuals understand the word so that we may all become transformed and fully mature in Christ.

We have two primary meeting times during the week for our Equipping Groups; Sunday Mornings and Tuesday Evenings

Sunday Mornings

Connections Bible Study in Room M-1 (primarily ages 50-65yrs) Meets from September -- June

Tuesday Evenings 6:30 p.m. -8:00 p.m.(Sept-Nov Jan-May)

We offer a wide variety of topics every semester in our Tuesday Evening Groups. Topics include: Books of the Bible, Various, Life Relevant Topics Emphasizing Spiritual Growth, Each study is meant to connect you with God's word and with other people wanting to grow. We hope to help people to gain a clear understanding of how to live-out our faith in these times.

Life Stage 4 Food Ministry

Attention all CCC Vegetable Gardeners

Are you wondering what to do with the extra veggies your garden will produce
this summer?

In an ongoing effort to support the Sunrise Food Closet, here are some suggestions that will help the hungry in our community.

Plant an extra vegetable plant and dedicate the produce to the Food Closet.
Donate any surplus produce from your garden to the Food Closet.
Bring your surplus produce to the food barrel located in the Fireside Room on Sunday mornings during services. The LS4 Food Ministry team will transport it for donation to the Food Closet.
Any vegetable or fruit will be accepted including tomatoes, squash, and green beans.

You’ll be helping those in need and getting rid of your surplus veggies!
