God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.  Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is; not as I would have it; trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will; so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next.

AMEN

Celebrate Recovery ®

Purpose

To serve God

by reaching out to others

so that they can step out of denial

into God's grace,

take an honest and spiritual inventory

that will help them get right with God,

themselves and others,

and that will allow them to grow in Christ

while helping others.

Celebrate Recovery® is a Christ-centered approach to overcoming deep rooted problems such as co-dependency, guilt and shame, pornography, alcoholism, and drug abuse. This program has helped many people overcome life issues by emphasizing personal responsibility and a close, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Using the Life Recovery Bible, participants work through the following 4 books:

  1. Stepping Out of Denial into God's Grace
  2. Taking an Honest and Spiritual Inventory
  3. Getting Right with God, Yourself, and Others
  4. Growing with Christ while Helping Others

Sunday Nights

6:00 pm – Praise & Worship, Teaching & Testimonies
7:00 pm – Small Groups
8:00 pm – Solid Rock Cafe (Fellowship, coffee & dessert)

5:30 pm - 8:30 pm – Childcare available thru the 6th grade

By working and applying biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

What People Are Saying About Celebrate Recovery® Ministry

"Celebrate Recovery has completely changed my life.  My children have chosen to re-establish a relationship with me, which has been the greatest miracle in my life.  My relationship with my parents and siblings is healed and made anew.  I no longer identify myself as a victim, but as Christ's daughter.

I no longer look for validation or approval from people.  I can love others because God has shown His love to me."   - Anita B.

"I'm a believer in Jesus Christ who is recovering from an addictive/compulsive personality.  Presently I have just over five years clean and sober.  My recovery is reliant on the one and only higher power - Jesus - and my brothers and sisters in Celebrate Recovery.  I am working on issues I could have never even begun to address before this.  I am now overcoming character defects such as sexual impurity, co-dependence, and anger.  Now I am closer to Christ than I have ever been in my life."   - Bruce F.

"Celebrate Recovery (CR) has increased my self esteem.  It gives me a chance to give back to women like myself who at one time were abused and molested.  I have a new hope in Christ with new tools to live the life God intended me to have.  Being a CR leader gives me an opportunity to come along side of other ladies as an encourager and a chance to share my testimony of how this program has given me a new life worth living.  The best part is watching the changed lives of people who come in broken and develop an excitement for living that they didn't have before."   - Joy C.
