Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness
The core classes LAF 101, 201, 301 & 401 are designed to give you an understanting of what Christ Community is all about (LAF 101), tools to help you grow in your faith (LAF 201), a formula for discovering your spiritual gifts (LAF 301) and confidence in how to share your faith story (LAF 401).
The LAF Track seminars are offerred three times per year on a Sunday afternoon from 4:00-8:00pm. (Check the Sunday morning bulletin for the information on the next LAF Track Sunday.)
There is a $5 charge per person for each of the LAF Track Seminars.
LAF 101 - Membership
The Discovering Christ Community Membership seminar is divided into four sessions, based on principles that unite us as a family:
Our Salvation — What God has done for us
Our Statements — What we believe
Our Story — Our history and affiliation
Our Success — How we measure success
Our Structure — Our ministry structure
Our Strategy — How we fulfill our purpose
Our Membership — What we expect of those who join us
The seminar is taught by members of the Pastoral Staff.
LAF 201 - Spiritual Growth
This seminar is designed to introduce you to some spiritual habits that will help you grow in your faith. The Seminar is taught by staff and other Christ Community leaders.
Prerequisite:101. (If you’ve been through 101, this is your next step on the LAF Track.)
LAF 301 - Gifts In Ministry
This seminar is designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts and how you can put them to use. The Seminar is taught by Janet Mahrle and other Christ Community leaders.
Prerequisites:101 & 201.
LAF 401- My Mission In Life
401 is designed to find your mission in life, to find the ministry that God has planned for you.
