The goal of this ministry is to equip you in your job search skills while connecting you to others in job transition (laid-off, fired, unemployed, or about to be) and connecting you to networking opportunities for employment. We are honored to serve you and look forward to helping you land fruitful employment. We strive to have a holistic ministry serving your spiritual, mental, social needs in obtaining a job. We are Christ centered and desire to share biblical principles in all that we do and say. Since some employment opportunities are many times NOT publicly advertised, we welcome and encourage anyone, or any organization, that has complete information on these "hidden job market" opportunities to let Bill Corbin or John Jones know and you can send this information to

. After we review it to be sure it fits the guidelines we have established for this(see below), we will post this information to our Job Transition web page(s) as well as potentially facilitate the announcement of such information at our Job Transition Ministry meetings.
So that this is a blessing and not an issue we have the following guidelines and policies:
Any employer who pays employment compensation may participate and post jobs on the JTM website, pending final approval by
Christ
Community
Church. The compensation may be in many forms and includes W2 salary/hourly, 1099 contractor and commissioned. Some examples of companies include private, public, government, business brokers, financial services, franchises.
Companies who promote Multiple Level Marketing or require upfront investments of any kind as condition of employment or compensation based primarily on recruiting of other people are deemed non-traditional employment. These companies are readily available in the public domain, and as such will not be allowed to post on the Christ Community Church Job Transition Ministry web page(s).
Any person attending any Job Transition Ministry event is asked not to post or announce any employment opportunity without first getting it approved by the Job Transition Ministry leadership.

We meet every Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:30pm in M1 here at the church.
There are (7) Instructor-led Modules taught on a reoccurring schedule. The handouts from each of the (7) Modules are posted below in case you missed a class or need an extra copy.
