Mission Statement
Our purpose is to encourage and support the Mission and Vision of Christ Community through faithful prayer.

Vision
We will seek to create a culture that gives rise to a praying congregation because we know that individual lives and churches are transformed and strengthened through prayer. We are seeking to be a "House of Prayer" church.

Objectives

For Every Believer
1. Raise the awareness of the need for prayer in their personal lives, families, homes and church.
2. Bring clearer understanding and greater insight concerning prayer.
3. Increase believers' effectiveness in prayer and encourage development of a lifestyle of prayer.

For Intercessors
1. Recognize intercessors as having a vital ministry necessary for the spiritual health and vitality of the church.
2. Provide opportunities to empower intercessors to strengthen and use their call to intercede.

For the Church
1. Link prayer with the existing ministries, building prayer into every aspect of the life of the church.
2. Support the goals and vision of the church by providing ways, times and places for prayer.
3. Provide opportunities for congregational education related to prayer.
4. Communicate prayer needs and answers to the congregation regularly.

Powerhouse Prayer
This is a group that meets during each Sunday service and prays through the service.

PRAYER REQUESTS Share your prayer requests and praises as well as update past requests. Fill out a Welcome Card in the pew rack on Sunday or call the church office at 344.2382. We pray over each request and give thanks for each answer that is turned in every week.
