We know how difficult it can be to connect in a church or learn new spiritual habits. that is why we invite you to just take one step at a time. Learn how to connect, give, and serve.

Next Steps

why next steps?

We believe that in order to live out the vision that God has given Christ Community Church, we must be continual learners of our faith in Jesus. This means creating fully-committed followers of Jesus who are willingly submitted to the leadership of the church through membership and actively participating in connecting, giving, and serving. Everyone is in process and we want to help you take your next step at Christ Community.

Connect

We have a lot of ways to connect at Christ Community. We have a place for people of all ages, including exciting children’s ministries, dynamic youth ministries, an engaging young adult ministry, and adult ministries for all ages. We offer a wide range of care ministries to support people in their times of need and a Celebrate Recovery ministry to help people walk through their hurts, habits, and hangups. Our LAF Track courses will help you grow as a disciple of Jesus, meet others, and be encouraged in the way God is using you.

give

We are blessed to be a blessing and giving is a foundational part of our commitment to Christ. It is not about how much we give, but the heart and attitude behind it. Giving is intended to be sacrificial. Just as Jesus sacrificially gave His life for all, we are invited to experience the joy that comes with sacrificial giving. Join us by taking your next step and giving of your time (serving), talents (skills and abilities), and treasures (finances).

become a member at christ community church

Membership at Christ Community starts by taking our LAF 101 course, which is offered several times throughout the year. The value of membership is that you enter into covenant with our church family and experience the blessing of encouragement and accountability in how your faith is lived out. Reach out to Dustin DeVriend with any questions on membership.

Baptism

When a person admits that they are a sinner and turns to Christ for salvation, the Bible says the watching world needs to know. Baptism has always stood as a public statement of belonging to God.
