The Young Adults Ministry is a place for men and women in their 20’s to connect and deepen their faith. We aim to create authentic community and experience the love and glory of Jesus together. We believe that worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry are the most essential parts of every young adult’s life. This is why we have opportunities throughout the month for all of these to happen in the YA Ministry at Christ Community.

Even the most mature believers face dark nights of the soul. During those times God seems distant, his Word feels dry, and the vibrant intimacy we knew before seems absent leaving us wondering, “Where is the Lord in this?” In Psalm 119, Matt Chandler aims to introduce viewers to the words of King David who experienced similar seasons of life. Serving as the anchor for the study, Psalm 119 demonstrates the power of God’s Word in the lives of believers and its ability to provide a warm blanket for the soul.

YA trips
Hungary mission trip
Are you interested in joining us for a short-term mission trip to Budapest, Hungary? We will be putting together a team of about 10 young adults to help lead a summer camp in Veszprém, Hungary. This is a two-week trip from roughly June 30th to July 14th, where we will serve alongside Vekker Church by helping teach English, run games, and build relationships with high school students at the annual summer camp. The cost will be between $2,500 and $3,000 for the trip; however, there will be many opportunities to raise funds, and we will support you throughout this journey.

Young Adults Pastor
I'm Justin Harcharik and I’ve been on staff at Christ Community Church for a little over 3 years, originally serving on our Facilities Team. I’ve also been involved in Youth and Children’s Ministries for over 9 years. I’m passionate about investing in students from all walks of life—including ones with special needs and those navigating difficult circumstances—because I myself have experienced and believe in the power of Christ-centered relationships during these formative years.
I recently got married to my amazing wife, Tyra, who also works on staff as the church’s administrative assistant—we actually met here at church!
In my free time, I enjoy listening to Christian hip-hop, playing racquetball, watching sitcoms, and getting outdoors to explore.
