Christmas Padgent auditions

Here are the Details:

This Christmas season we’re creating something that brings the story of Jesus to life in a powerful, creative, and unforgettable way! Our church is putting on a full Christmas Pageant production featuring live acting, dynamic dance, powerful singing, and live music.  

The performances will be on December 4th at 6:30pm and December 5th at 10:00am.

And this is where YOU come in.

We believe this isn’t just a production, it’s a time for the entire church family to step into the story. We’re inviting actors, ages 6-106 years old, and dancers, ages 5-18 years old, to audition and be part of what God is building through this. Whether you’ve been on stage before or this is your first time, there is a place for you. Every role matters. Every voice matters. Every gift matters. Let’s come together to create something that reaches our city and glorifies Jesus!

Auditions will take place on August 2nd from 1:30pm-6:00pm in the MP Room. 

Once you register for auditions, you will receive a confirmation email with a specific time frame/s for the part/s (listed below) you’d like to audition for. Included will be information on what to prepare based on the role you’re looking to audition for.

  Main Roles: Prepare a monologue (options will be available in the confirmation email).
  Supporting Roles: Read through a back-n-forth dialogue with someone else on stage (options will be available in the confirmation email).
  Dance Team: Will be taught a short routine by the Dance Director, Kailey Nyborg, and asked to perform it in groups.

Note: Please consider the dates and time commitment before auditioning. 
November and December are mandatory dates.

  September: Mondays, 5:30-8:00pm
  October: Mondays, 5:30-8:00pm
  November: Mondays, 5:30-8:00pm 
      Plus Fridays November 6th & 20th, 5:30-8:00pm
  November 16th & 20th: Tech Week, 5:30-8:00pm
  November 29th: Full Dress Rehearsal (with set and props on stage), 5:30-8:00pm
  December 3rd: Final Dress Rehearsal, 5:30-8:00pm
  Performances December 4th at 6:30pm & December 5th at 10:00am

Required Time Commitment for Dancers to Consider: 
  September: Thursdays 
      Elementary age, 5:00pm-6:15pm 
      Middle School+, 6:30pm-8:00pm
  October: Thursdays 
      Elementary age, 5:00pm-6:15pm
      Middle School+,  6:30pm-8:00pm
  November 5th, 12th, & 19th: Thursdays 
      Elementary age, 5:00pm-6:15pm
