What is congregational care?

At Christ Community, not only are we dedicated to bringing all the saving grace of Jesus, but we also strive to care, train and uplift the members of the body of Christ. We accomplish this through various ministries that reach out to our church families and local community.

  • Congregational Care comes alongside those who are in need of emotional and practical support, spiritual direction, prayer, and encouragement.

  • Congregational Care is dedicated to serving the families in our church and our community by connecting them to resources within Christ Community Church and the community.

  • Congregational Care offers a wide range of resources to help people navigate the struggles and pains of life. From financial support to divorce care, grief share, and meal ministries.

  • Congregational Care can also help resource you and point you to great resources that exist in our local community, like the Sunrise Christian Food Ministry and many others.

prayer ministries

At Christ Community, prayer is a vital part of being a gathered church of Jesus Christ and we are invited to bring our requests before God and in accordance with the will of God. Romans 8:26-27 says, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” Here are some of the ways we faithful pray for our congregation.

  • PRAYER TEAM: If you have a prayer request or you would like to join the prayer team, please reach out to Tracy Richardson with the button below. The prayer team is also available to pray over you and with you after every service at the front of the Sanctuary or MP Room.

  • HEALING PRAYER: This is the first Sunday of every month at 12:00pm in M1. Join us for a time of praying over any physical, spiritual, or emotional needs.
