why give?

start giving

The stewardship and generosity of our finances is a tremendous—and often overlooked—area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the gospel. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously. Though CCC does permit giving using credit cards, we don't condone or encourage giving that contributes to personal debt. If you have any questions, reach out to Christina Wagner.

Finance update

The Lord continues to provide and we want to be good stewards of our finances at Christ Community. This means that we will be giving regular financial updates to the congregation about the income from giving and the spending expenses. Below is the update from July-December 2023, which is the first 6 months of our giving year.

A FOUNDATION STORY

Upon retiring, I received a payout for my unused vacation. I set up an investment account and designated the CCC Foundation as one of the beneficiaries…for use in God’s kingdom after I reach my eternal home.” - Tery Baldwin
