High School Ministry exists to encourage and equip students to engage in life transforming relationships with God and their peers, by providing a welcoming space for authentic and meaningful relationships to grow.

Tuesday Nights

Tuesday nights are where it all goes down! We engage in a time of fellowship, games, worship and more. If you are new and are looking to get plugged into a ministry that is welcoming, this is the place for you.

9:00AM
We are in the Tent! Join us on Sundays at 9:00am for a time of worship and diving into God’s Word together. Come and experience the blessing of true fellowship with other High School students.

BLAKE COX
High School Pastor
Hi, my name is Blake Cox and I am the High School Pastor at Christ Community. I became a Christian at 21 years old when Jesus saved me from myself. I am happily married to my best friend Shantel Cox. We have been married since November of 2020. I studied at William Jessup University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Christian Leadership in 2019. Additionally, in 2023 I earned a certificate of completion from Coram Deo, a Christ-centered program designed to help Pastors equip and disciple people for the glory of God.
I enjoy reading, hiking, biking, snowboarding, video games, board games, music, and food.
I love doing life with high schoolers because of how unique of a time it is. High school is one of the most transformative periods in a person's life and it sets the trajectory for their future. Having the opportunity to walk alongside students and watching where the Lord is leading them is truly rewarding. Witnessing young people grow in a relationship with Jesus and other brothers and sisters in Christ is what gets me excited!
