Lord, is it Warfare? Teach Me to Stand ê

Once you become a Christian you are in a war zone. The problem is that you may not know it. This study will equip you to realize and understand spiritual warfare. You will discover scriptural ways to overcome the enemy and to stand in the face of spiritual conflict.

MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers)  

MOPS exists to meet the needs all moms who share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. 

Meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from September-May in Room M1,  from 9:30 - 11:30 am.  

(Drop off kids at 9:15 am)

New Ministry!

Reaching Out

Meets the 3rd Friday of each month.   7:00 - 8:30 pm Room 12/13

Come join Women 2 Women Reaching Out  on Friday, February 17th, from 7-8:30pm in Room 12/13 at the church for a "Jiffy for Jesus" peanut butter drive for the Sunrise Christian Food Ministry.  Their director, Rocky Peterson, a member of Christ Community, will be sharing about the food closet.  Did you know that it is located in Citrus Heights, is open from 11:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday and is available to those in need living in the zip codes of Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks and Orangevale?  

Please bring small to medium sized jars of peanut butter to help stock their shelves.

As a fun bonus, we will be decorating and packaging sugar cookies for the food closet too!

Everyone is invited to an exciting evening of P B and J- peanut butter and Jesus!

R.E.A.L.

Small Group Ministry

 

We believe that there is a new urgency  in women searching for meaningful relationships with other women where they can receive encouragement, support, and connections with other women who have experienced the same setbacks, hardships, frustrations, and heartbreaks they are facing.

A R.E.A.L. SMALL MENTORING GROUP IS:

 

 

 

A group of 3 women and one facilitator who meet once every two weeks for 6 months to develop –

• Relationships with each other, to be
• Equipped and encouraged in their Christian walk, to
• Assimilate into the larger body of Christ, and to
• Love and support one another.
