Missions opportunities

The Christ Community Missions Team has two excellent opportunities coming up to serve and help feed hungry people in America and around the world.

Gleanings for the Hungry

The 6th annual Christ Community Gleanings for the Hungry Mission Trip will leave for Dinuba, California, after the worship services on Sunday, October 11th. The team will stay on-site working in a variety of settings before returning on Friday morning, October 17th. No one is too young or too old to join this incredible adventure that will challenge you to grow spiritually. The video will provide an introduction to how Christ Community has ministered over the years. Attend the informational meeting at 12:15pm on August 23rd in Room M4.

Our shift to serve with Feed My Starving Children is Thursday, September 17th, from 7:00-9:00pm. We will be packing nutritious food parcels for children. This is a very upbeat function which got rave reviews from last year’s team. This event is only once a year and takes place locally at William Jessup University in Rocklin. Click here to sign up.

To effectively and strategically make disciples in other cultures, we support Ministry Partners locally, regionally, and globally. Our focus is on partners who evangelize and disciple where Jesus is least known, train local leaders where the Gospel is spreading, and reach out to ease the hurts of those in need.
